Why AlarmForce Is Not Fully Endorsed By Home Security Reporter
The reason why Home Security Reporter is not fully endorsing AlarmForce is that they make customers sign a 3-year contract and they reserve the right to raise prices at any point.
Also, keep in mind that home security technology has evolved to a point that you no longer need installers. Alarm systems are very easy to set up and you don’t need a technical background. Installers don’t work for free. There is a significant cost to them and these costs are relayed to the customers.
Companies like AlarmForce need to justify their long-term contracts and they do this by saying an installer is necessary. Plus their older customer base had the installer already, so they are expected for future servicing.

What we saw at our son who has an alarm was not what we got and so we are disappointed although we were leaving for a holiday and installer came with very little inventory.Ken
Had my Alarm Force system installed in August 2016. Have only had 2 consecutive months were we didn’t have problems or require a service call. We went with the video system as we spend the winter down south and wanted to let keep a close eye on home. 2 weeks after we left, the video camera went down. It didn’t work for 2 and a half months. We had an electronic lock installed in late spring, it doesn’t work. Unfortunately the technicians that they send are not always familiar with the system. They spend a good deal of time on the phone with their supervisor trying to troubleshoot the problem. As I have signed a contract, I am stuck for now. Once the contract is up, I will have alarm Force remove their equipment and I will look for a new service provider.Janet Vasey
